When you attend your first Remedial Massage appointment, our massage therapist at Novita Health will review your health and lifestyle history and discuss the symptoms and problems you are experiencing, so they can focus their massage treatment.

For the massage treatment, you will be asked to lie on the massage table, and you will be covered with a towel for privacy and to keep you warm.

The therapist will discuss with you the option of using creams or oils during the massage.

Your therapist will then use a number of different techniques to locate and repair damaged areas of the body.

To carry out the massage, your therapist will stretch different parts of your body and also apply pressure to your body and muscles.

During your massage, your therapist will check your comfort levels with the amount of pressure being applied.

However, while our therapist will make every effort to be gentle, there may be times where extra pressure is needed to penetrate muscles associated with the problems you are facing.

The aim of each massage is to stimulate your blood supply, make joints more mobile, and help to repair damaged tissues.
